Information we use

We use the name, email, optional phone number, delivery address, messages and product selections you provide to answer questions, prepare and fulfill orders, send confirmations, and handle cancellations, refunds and warranty support. Order records can include measurements, finishes, prices, tax, shipping, policy agreement, payment status, payment identifiers and shipment details.

Square handles payment card entry and processing. Our website keeps payment references and status information rather than collecting your full card number or card security code.

Services that help us

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website and store order records, Square for payments, and Resend for transactional messages. Correspondence also reaches Cove’s email inbox. These services receive information needed for their roles and may retain their own records under their policies and applicable obligations. Removing information from Cove’s website does not automatically remove every provider or inbox copy.

Browser storage and security

Your browser can save your cart and finish choices locally. It also uses session storage for checkout attempts and receipt access. You can clear this website’s browser data to remove those saved details. Hosting and security services process connection information to deliver and protect the website.

When the contact form is enabled, the application keeps hashed contact and connection identifiers, duplicate-submission information, timestamps and delivery status to limit abuse. It does not store the message text in that anti-abuse table. Records older than 30 days are cleared when the enabled contact form’s availability check runs; this is not a scheduled deletion of email messages.

How long we keep information

We use a three-year starting point for ordinary sales and tax records, with an annual manual review. This is not an automatic three-year deletion deadline for all customer information.

The relevant tax period may run from a return’s filing or due date rather than the order date. We retain records until the applicable period is established and reviewed, and longer when needed for tax requirements, unresolved orders, refunds, disputes, warranty obligations or other legal holds. We review other correspondence and customer information for its continuing purpose and remove information that is no longer needed when appropriate. Provider and backup copies may follow separate retention processes.
